About this role

We are looking for a Senior Fin Ops Analyst to join our growing Fin Ops team, working closely with engineering, finance, and product teams to drive cloud financial accountability and efficiency across Just Eat Takeaway. com.

In this role you will play a key part in helping us understand, optimise, and manage our cloud spend at scale, bringing both analytical rigour and a collaborative mindset to everything you do.

  • Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our London or Berlinoffice & 2 days working from home
  • Reporting to: Fin Ops Manager

These are some of the key components to the position

  • Monitor, analyse and report on cloud spend across our cloud platforms, identifying cost trends, anomalies and optimisation opportunities.
  • Generate clear, actionable cost and usage reports for engineering and finance stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Lead cloud cost optimisation initiatives, working collaboratively with engineering teams to implement recommendations and track savings.
  • Manage and develop vendor relationships, engaging with cloud providers to maximise value from existing agreements and commitments.
  • Support the development and embedding of Fin Ops best practices and tooling across the organisation.
  • Partner with internal teams to build a culture of cloud financial accountability and continuous improvement.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Solid experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), with a practical understanding of cloud services, pricing models and cost drivers.
  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimisation strategies, including reserved instances, savings plans, rightsizing and tagging governance.
  • Hands-on experience with Fin Ops practices and tooling, with a Fin Ops Practitioner certification (or equivalent) being highly desirable.
  • At least one practitioner-level cloud certification (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and data skills, with the ability to translate complex cloud spend data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to present findings and influence decisions at all levels.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a drive to continuously learn, improve and make a lasting impact on the business.
