JET's Information Security organisation protects a technology-led, cloud-native platform serving millions of customers across multiple markets. At JET, security isn't a gatekeeper; it's a growth enabler. Our Security Business Partner function is responsible for embedding security thinking directly into the product and engineering lifecycle, ensuring that risk is understood, proportionate, and never a blocker to innovation.

As Security Business Partner Principal, you'll embed security across a defined portfolio of business teams and product lines, owning the strategy and quality of how security consultation is delivered at scale. You'll operate at department level, shaping how JET's engineering and product communities experience security, and translating complex risk into language that drives confident business decisions at senior leadership level.

Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week from our London or Amsterdam office & 2 days working from home

Reporting to: Head of Security Business Partner

These are some of the key components to the position:

  • Own the security business partnering strategy across pillars, ensuring consistent, high-quality embedded security consultation.
  • Drive the adoption of shift-left security practices at scale, including threat modelling, secure design reviews, and early-stage risk assessment across multiple engineering teams.
  • Shape JET's third-party and supply chain security programme, overseeing vendor risk assessments and managing the governance framework for supplier security posture.
  • Own the security assurance and compliance programme for your domain, coordinating security, translating findings into business-aligned risk language, and maintaining executive-level risk reporting.
  • Influence senior product and engineering stakeholders, building trusted relationships that position security as a strategic partner rather than a compliance function.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Proven experience leading or coordinating security consultation, risk management, or governance programmes across multiple teams or business units simultaneously.
  • Strong strategic thinking - able to set a domain-level direction for how security enablement is delivered, balancing rigour with business velocity.
  • Excellent stakeholder management at senior level, with the ability to translate complex risk into clear, commercially relevant language for non-technical audiences.
  • Deep knowledge of risk assessment, threat modelling methodologies, and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST CSF) applied in a product or engineering context.
  • Experience managing third-party and supply chain security risk at programme scale.
  • A coaching and development mindset, demonstrated ability to grow security professionals and build high-performing, consultative teams.
