Just Eat Takeaway is looking to hire a Backend Software Engineer for our Customer Order Platform team. You'll design and develop scalable, high-quality software solutions that enhance the customer experience on a global scale.
Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week from our London office & 2 days working from home.
- Implement new features, ensuring established code quality standards.
- Actively improve code quality in the wider team by pairing, contributing to peer reviews & knowledge sharing.
- Knowledgeable in both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
- Solid foundation in software engineering principles and best practices, including data structures, design patterns, microservices, event-driven architectures, object-oriented design, and code optimization.
- Proficient in DevOps practices with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines.
