As Category Lead in the Global Grocery Sales Team, your core responsibility is to acquire, manage, and develop partnerships with some of the largest grocers across the globe, ensuring JET delivers a winning proposition to its consumers. Based on these partnerships, you drive the development of the grocery category consumer proposition and define business requirements that shape the P&T roadmap, while driving the adoption of agentic category management. You work cross-functionally with Local Account Management, Tech, Marketing, Legal, and Logistics teams. You will also own/contribute to capability-building programs to support the global strategy and local teams.

You are a confident and thoughtful communicator, able to turn solid, data-driven insights into real-world impact through others. You possess a high level of energy, which can be used to inspire and influence multiple stakeholders towards making change. You are genuinely passionate about the future of on-demand grocery and excited about building something from the ground up as part of a global team.

These are some of the key components to the position:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the commercial strategy of the grocery category, while defining the required new cross-functional capabilities;
  • Assume P&L responsibility for your global grocery accounts, with a clear growth plan;
  • Drive agentic category management capability development and adoption;
  • Work closely with the local Heads of Retail of 15 Markets to drive your strategy into action with executional excellence and based on solid analytics from your part;
  • Carefully manage a senior set of stakeholders across a matrix-led organisation;
  • Author Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that translate partner commercial needs into actionable P&T roadmap items, and actively drive them through the roadmap and prioritisation process;
  • Engage JET functions such as account management, marketing, operations, and logistics to develop company capabilities, improving the shopping and user experience within your vertical;
  • Represent JET at industry events with superior networking skills.

  • Proven ability to close enterprise deals and drive fast, hands-on implementation;
  • High energy, autonomy, and resilience with a “get it done” personality, striving as a member of a high-performing team;
  • Extensive experience in account management or business development in FMCG or Retail, preferably at a global level;
  • Commercially savvy with strong influencing skills and ability to craft clear narratives;
  • Experience in building positive relationships and handling stakeholders across different departments and at all levels within the organisation;
  • Data-driven, goes to the root cause, uses relevant data to make decisions and provide insights.
