Background check
Safety is always our priority. Everybody who delivers is required to share an existing, or complete a new, criminal background and right to work (RTW) check. Completing a new check takes about 15 minutes. For new checks, you’ll receive an email from a company called Sterling.
Can I use my own equipment?
We have a range of equipment you can purchase for a very reasonable price depending on your needs from jackets, helmets and of course our thermal bags to ensure food is delivered safely and correctly. There’s no obligation to use Just Eat branded equipment. Feel free to use your own equipment however, you must ensure that it meets our minimum safety requirements.
Do I need to submit my availability every week?
Yes, we mainly operate a closed network. This is to help make sure we maintain a balance of couriers and orders. When things are busy, you might have the opportunity to jump on a “open runs” and start delivering straight away.
