As Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you will provide the independent analytical layer behind every major planning decision across our global supply chain. This is not an operational planning role — it's strategic and project-focused, centred on validation, performance analytics, reporting, and process improvement.
You will:
- Strategic Validation: Independently validate critical forecasts, inventory plans, and major proposals before they reach the Planning Manager. Escalate risks, ensure plans are data-led, and lead root cause analysis on supply chain failures.
- Performance Dashboards: Build and maintain AI-powered dashboards (Anaplan, Claude/Toqan) for planning and performance meetings — tracking forecast accuracy (WAPE), consumption accuracy, OSL deviation, inventory value, and outbound versus forecast.
- Anaplan Partnership: Work with the Anaplan Model Builder to enhance the planning environment as the single source of truth. Brief in requirements, validate data integrity, and shape new data views and outputs.
- Deep Dive Analysis: Investigate performance drivers by product category (packaging, equipment, marketing goods, devices) and by country/stakeholder. Surface root causes behind forecast misses, consumption variances, and inventory deviations. Track overstock and slow movers.
- Monthly Review & Storytelling: Partner with the Demand Planning Analyst to build a clear, action-driving narrative for monthly KPI reviews and proposed purchases meetings. Tailor every presentation to the audience.
- Stakeholder Bridge: Translate supply chain methodology and performance into language that Finance, Marketing, Operations, and country teams can act on. Own the explanation of how forecasts, supply plans, and inventory targets work.
- Process Improvement: Own monthly and quarterly reporting. Lead initiatives that reduce manual workload, increase automation, and improve data quality across Anaplan and AI tool integration.
What will you bring to the team?
- Experience: Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, or related field. 3+ years in supply chain analytics, planning, or a closely related analytical role.
- Analytical Rigour: Ability to interrogate large datasets, identify root causes — not surface-level reporting — and present findings clearly.
- Anaplan & Dashboards: Experience with supply chain planning systems (Anaplan preferred). Track record of building performance reporting and dashboards for senior stakeholders.
- Data & Tools: Advanced Excel. Experience with AI tools (Claude, Chat GPT, or similar) for business analytics is a plus.
- Storytelling: Can turn complex supply chain data into a clear narrative that non-experts can follow and act on. Knows their audience and tailors accordingly.
- Independent Challenger: Willing to provide objective, data-led challenge to planning decisions. Proactive problem-solver who brings solutions, not just observations.
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management principles. MCIPS/CIPS qualification is desirable.
