About this role: We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Logistics Intelligence team within One DNA, our central data organisation. This role sits at the intersection of Data Science, Product, and Logistics, translating complex model performance and operational data into commercially sharp, executive-ready insight. You will investigate opportunities to improve the delivery experience, investigate our ETA prediction model from a business and operations perspective to surface commercially important gaps, and craft clear, compelling storylines that influence decision-making at the highest level.
Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our London office & 2 days working from home
Reporting to: Senior Manager, Logistics Intelligence & Data Products
These are some of the key components to the position:
- Run weekly insight deep dives on priority topics directed by the Director of Logistics Strategy and Global Head of Logistics, turning ambiguous questions into structured analyses with clear, commercially relevant conclusions.
- Investigate our ETA prediction model from a business lens by identifying gaps that matter for customer experience, courier experience, and partner experience, as well as unrealised commercial value the model is leaving on the table.
- Create executive-ready storylines and visuals - build clear, persuasive charts in Google Sheets and design attractive, well-structured slide decks in Google Slides that make complex findings accessible to a senior executive audience on a weekly cadence.
- Translate insight into product recommendations by understanding how the product works, what is technically achievable, and where the highest-impact opportunities sit, then linking findings directly to actionable recommendations for the Product team.
- Manage your own workload and trade-offs in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities from multiple stakeholder groups and knowing when to push back, escalate, or re-scope.
- Collaborate across Data Science, Product, Strategy, and Logistics to ensure insights are grounded in operational reality, technically feasible, and aligned to commercial priorities.
What will you bring to the team?
Required:
- 4-6 years of experience in a data analytics, business intelligence, or strategy & insights role.
- Strong SQL proficiency (Google Big Query preferred). You can write, optimise, and debug complex queries independently.
- Proven track record of turning large, messy datasets into clear insight that changed a business decision.
- Exceptional storytelling ability. You can build a chart that makes a point in 5 seconds and a narrative that holds an executive's attention for 15 minutes.
- Strong visual design and presentation skills. You can build polished, executive-ready decks in Google Slides, with charts sourced from Google Sheets, that tell a clear story without clutter.
- Experience working with or around data science / ML models, with the commercial instinct to ask 'so what does this mean for the business?'
- Ability to manage ambiguity, shifting priorities, and multiple stakeholder groups without losing structure or quality.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence presenting to senior leadership.
- High proficiency with GSuite, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), and Slack for collaboration.
Preferred:
- Experience in logistics, marketplaces, or on-demand delivery.
- Exposure to product analytics or working alongside product teams to shape roadmaps.
- Familiarity with the operational realities of ETA, dispatch, or routing systems.
- Experience using BI or visualisation tools (Tableau or equivalent) for rapid chart creation.
