About this role:

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Front End – Vue/React) to join a brand new team in Bristol. This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work in the office 3 days a week.

You\’ll be part of a team focused on Retail Media, a key area for our company\’s revenue growth.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Design and build scalable web solutions, primarily using Vue.js, with some work in React.
  • Work with other engineering teams and stakeholders to create a great user experience.
  • Focus on accessibility, performance, and scalability in all your work.
  • Take full ownership of your code, from writing it to maintaining it in a shared on-call rotation.
  • Mentor other engineers on the team.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Vue.js (ideally v3) and its related tools.
  • JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frameworks like Webpack, Vite, and TypeScript.
  • Unit testing with tools like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Building responsive UIs that meet WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Designing and debugging large, complex applications.
  • Working independently and taking ownership of projects.
  • Collaboration and communication skills, especially in a distributed environment.

Bonus points for experience with monorepos and micro-frontend architecture.
