About this role:
We are looking for a Software Engineer (Front End – Vue/React) to join a brand new team in Bristol. This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work in the office 3 days a week.
You\’ll be part of a team focused on Retail Media, a key area for our company\’s revenue growth.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
Design and build scalable web solutions, primarily using Vue.js, with some work in React.
Work with other engineering teams and stakeholders to create a great user experience.
Focus on accessibility, performance, and scalability in all your work.
Take full ownership of your code, from writing it to maintaining it in a shared on-call rotation.
Mentor other engineers on the team.
What will you bring to the table?
Vue.js (ideally v3) and its related tools.
JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frameworks like Webpack, Vite, and TypeScript.
Unit testing with tools like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
Building responsive UIs that meet WCAG accessibility standards.
Designing and debugging large, complex applications.
Working independently and taking ownership of projects.
Collaboration and communication skills, especially in a distributed environment.
Bonus points for experience with monorepos and micro-frontend architecture.
