About this role:
As a Senior Strategy Associate – Logistics Strategy and Development within our Global Strategy & PMO team, you will play a crucial role in the Development of our long-term strategy for JET’s independent contractor logistics model. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Global Logistics Strategy and working alongside our Strategy & Operations Reporting Analyst, this hands-on role is designed for a strategy professional with a passion for fast-paced data-driven decision making and a strong ability to articulate commercial and operational impacts.
In this role, you will take ownership of key problem and opportunity areas, leveraging the expertise of operational teams to build out robust business cases and influence the roadmaps of Product & Technology and Operations teams, ensuring alignment with our broader long-term strategy.
Some of the key ingredients to the role:

Development of JET’s logistics strategy: Work with the Senior Manager of Global Logistics Strategy and Director of Strategy & PMO to continually evolve the strategic vision for our independent contractor logistics model.

Building presentations for senior stakeholders: Leverage strong cross-functional relationships to produce strategic narratives and presentations for senior leadership on key strategic initiatives.

Ownership of strategic business cases: Take ownership of robust, data-driven business cases for key problems and opportunities across the business. Leveraging the knowledge of operational and analytical teams across the business.

Championing strategic initiatives: Champion key strategic projects from the development of robust business cases and influencing Product & Tech and Operational teams\’ roadmaps, and ensuring delivery of work which solves key strategic problems or unlocks new opportunities.

Identify new opportunities: Propose opportunities for innovation through remaining up to date with industry trends and internal insights.
What you will bring to the table:

3-5 years of strategy experience in either consulting or a fast-paced technology-focused company.

A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a track record of independently identifying, analysing, and resolving complex strategic and operational challenges.

Strong commercial acumen and business sense, with the ability to identify, evaluate, and articulate the potential value of commercial and operational opportunities based on internal insights and industry trends.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to present insights clearly and concisely to senior leadership through memos and presentations.

Collaborative approach with a proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams in a global and fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
