About this role
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Product Manager to lead our Data Science pursuits within the network optimization domain with a strong focus on partner preparation time. This role requires a strong analytical background, a deep understanding of machine learning and statistical modeling, and the ability to drive data-driven product decisions that directly impact our courier experience. You will work closely with our Data Scientists to develop and optimize the models that power our preparation times and order flow
Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our London or Bristol office & 2 days working from home
These are some of the key components to the position:
Define and own the product vision and roadmap for data-science-driven initiatives in preparation time and network optimization.
Partner with Data Science and Engineering to design, test, and scale predictive and optimization models.
Lead experimentation and measurement, driving A/B tests and tracking key metrics to assess business impact.
Develop monitoring, alerting, and performance dashboards to ensure model health and reliability.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Country teams to align on strategy, rollout, and impact.
Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders through clear, structured storytelling.
Build and embed mechanisms for model governance, partner control, and experimentation to accelerate learning and delivery.
What will you bring to the team?
Proven product management experience in data science, machine learning, experimentation, or optimization domains.
Proven experience with logistics, marketplace, or network optimization products.
Strong analytical and statistical skills with hands-on experience in A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and impact measurement.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business narratives for senior stakeholders.
Familiarity with prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE) and trade-off evaluation across accuracy, latency, and cost.
Experience partnering closely with data science and engineering teams on model development and validation.
Understanding of backend systems, APIs, data architecture, and model deployment workflows. Ability to use SQL, Python, or similar data analysis tools to explore and interpret data independently.
