In this fixed-term contract role, the Logistics Data Analyst will work closely inside Just Eat Takeaway’s UK & IE Delivery Operations and Product teams to support the development of a world-class delivery experience. This role will involve grasping complex concepts quickly, uncovering facts and identifying root causes of performance issues from detailed data, as well as understanding general trends. Furthermore, you will be combining different internal and external data sources to produce and derive insights. A passion for data and process driven operational improvement is key as well as the ability to work within a team of people with different skill sets.

- Leading key analytical initiatives and projects to continuously enhance our delivery operations and customer experience.
- Proactively suggesting and conducting relevant data analyses to enable deeper operational insights.
- Supporting the optimisation of key business processes to continuously improve the delivery experience and promote efficiency and effectiveness.
- Working closely with stakeholders from our employed courier model and coordinating cross-functional initiatives to drive positive, timely outcomes for the business.
- Understanding delivery operations metrics in depth and ensuring consistent use across the business, being able to communicate them to other teams.
- Investigating problem orders to identify their root cause(s) and, whenever possible, identify trends and proactively eliminate/reduce re-occurrences.
What will you bring to the table?
- Highly organised, detail-oriented with good analytical and communication skills.
- Proven experience in an analytical role.
- Strong reporting skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings (solid SQL knowledge is a requirement).
- Strong modelling and problem structuring skills, being able to tackle complex unstructured problems.
- Proactive and clear communication skills.
- Experience with Google BigQuery and Google Sheets is a plus.
- Experience with Tableau (or similar data visualisation tools) is a plus.
