About This Role
We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join a brand new team in Bristol. You\’ll be part of a team focused on Retail Media, a key area for our company\’s revenue growth. Please note that this position is located in Bristol (3 days a week from our office and 2 days working from home).
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
- Design and build scalable web solutions, primarily using Vue.js, with some work in React.
- Work with other engineering teams and stakeholders to create a great user experience.
- Focus on accessibility, performance, and scalability in all your work.
- Take full ownership of your code, from writing it to maintaining it in a shared on-call rotation.
- Mentor other engineers on the team.
What will you bring to the table?
- Vue.js (ideally v3) and its related tools.
- JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frameworks like Webpack, Vite, and TypeScript.
- Unit testing with tools like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Building responsive UIs that meet WCAG accessibility standards.
- Designing and debugging large, complex applications.
- Working independently and taking ownership of projects.
- Collaboration and communication skills, especially in a distributed environment.
- Experience with monorepos and micro-frontend architecture would be a non mandatory plus.
