- Understand Technology roadmap to identify and help to shape a backlog of future requirements, leveraging your suppliers to bring their innovation to the table too.
- Awareness of Technology budgets, flagging any in-flight requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposal (RFPs) that may cause an impact.
- Build and shape a problem tracking solution (using JIRA or similar) to keep tabs on any service limiting issues.
- Risk Management - if you spot something that doesn’t look right, either commercially or operationally, own the issue and work with stakeholders to mitigate this, in accordance with the JET Risk Framework.
- Facilitate, host and contribute to Service Reviews, QBRs and other meetings with partners, vendors and some tactical suppliers in the portfolio to ensure excellent service and value for money.
- Develop regular reports on supplier service and performance whilst keeping your internal customers informed using relevant tooling.
What will you bring to the table?
- Experience in managing Technology vendors in across many disciplines; SaaS, PaaS, software and services.
- Contract Management experience is highly desirable; you’ll partner with both stakeholders and our Legal Team to get initiatives across the line and would be expected to perform due diligence with relevant contracts.
- Experience working for a global organisation, managing relationships with large Technology vendors across multiple geographies is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of different licensing models, TCO, ROI and a good commercial acumen.
- Experience working with Agile based frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) - People over Process.
