About this role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join a sub team of the Identity & Access Services function within our Enterprise IT department. Working closely with colleagues in the UK, Netherlands and Canada you’ll have a global remit to help manage and support all access related items regarding our JML (Joiners, Movers, and Leavers) process. You won't just be managing accounts; you will be building the intelligent framework that governs access through Role Profiling and Access Blueprints. Your goal is to eliminate manual provisioning, to ensure a seamless, secure onboarding and offboarding experience across our global teams and ensure our employees and third party partners are ready at “Day Zero”. Achieving all of this with the principle of least privilege (PoLP) in mind to protect our data and systems.

These are some of the key components to the position:

  • Supporting of the key IAM Onboarding processes - Joiner, Mover, Leaver process; Access Control; Access Blueprinting and Role Profiling.
  • Supporting Identity Governance Automation using Okta.
  • Project work, delivered in 2 week sprints under the guidance of IAM Onboarding Engineers.
  • Delivering quality - providing detailed, timely updates on user issues, autonomously producing documentation and updating production incident tickets.
  • Transparently communicating at an appropriate technical level to the wider Enterprise IT team and more senior project stakeholders.
  • Working closely with Hiring Managers and Application Owners to build appropriate Access Blueprints.
  • Partner closely with IAM, EIT, and wider tech teams to understand access needs, shape requirements, and deliver seamless onboarding experiences.
  • Working with our Business Process Outsourcing teams (BPOs) to create automated provisioning, Access Blueprints and maintain governance of these through recertification.
  • Champion Audit Readiness, maintaining a strong focus on audit and compliance standards, ensuring all access processes meet governance expectations.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Experience using Okta.
  • The ability to work on projects and day to day support duties independently or with supervision for more complex issues.
  • A self-starter who’s eager to learn new principles and technologies.
  • Great communication skills, being proactive in sharing information and status updates with others, especially across time zones.
  • Experience troubleshooting issues that may affect multiple users or sites.

You’ll have an advantage if you have:

  • General experience of Access Control principles.
  • General knowledge of PoLP.
  • General knowledge of working in a cloud environment.
  • Scripting (Powershell/Python for eg) or willing to learn.
  • Experience or Knowledge of Okta Workflows and Okta Identity Governance.
