About the Role
Senior Product Localisation Specialist, 12‑month fixed term contract for maternity leave. Work within the Localisation team in User Experience and Design to improve customer‑facing copy on JET’s websites and apps. Collaborate with stakeholders across Content, Product and Tech and liaise with our external localisation agency.
Responsibilities
- Explore new ways to improve current localisation processes in a strategic way.
- Bring the JET tone of voice to life in our markets worldwide, delivering high‑quality multilingual content for all JET platforms.
- Receive and manage copy requests across all markets, supporting day‑to‑day projects and operations between JET and our external agency.
- Proofread, review and edit German copy delivered by the external agency.
- Manage relationships internally and externally, working with stakeholders to ensure tone of voice and style are consistently followed.
- Align with country‑specific teams across the business on product projects and initiatives.
- Maintain language‑related documents such as glossaries and style guides.
- Collect and analyse insights to drive quality improvement and perform audits to ensure our products deliver excellent quality.
Qualifications
- Proficient writing, reviewing and proofreading in German.
- Native speaker of German and fluent proficiency in English.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully manage internal and external relationships.
- Comfortable with working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Previous experience with CAT tools and TMS—Smartling would be a real bonus.
