About The Role
The Trade Compliance Manager role is an opportunity for professionals with experience or a strong interest in trade and customs compliance to grow their skills in a global, collaborative environment. Based in the EU, this role is part of a diverse Global Team focused on building effective, compliant import and export processes. Working closely with partners across the business, the Trade Compliance Manager helps strengthen worldwide customs operations, support duty optimization, and ensure compliance with international regulations through strong analytical and organizational skills.
What Youll Be Doing
- Develop and drive the global strategy for customs compliance processes
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Free Trade Agreement (FTA) processes, partnering with Procurement and Supply Chain to maximize duty savings
- Establish, maintain, and enhance worldwide customs filing, HS classification, valuation, and rules-of-origin processes
- Ensure accurate HS classification and data maintenance within the GTS system
- Conduct global self-assessments and audits, driving corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Increase the overall maturity and effectiveness of customs compliance across the organization
- Develop, maintain, and deploy Trade Compliance policies, KPIs, and training in collaboration with internal stakeholders
About You
- Ability to understand business needs quickly, anticipate risks, and provide practical compliance recommendations
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in customs or trade compliance, or a closely related field
- Strong planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, including working with regulators
- Experience delivering initiatives and training within a diverse, global organization
- Background in regulated, commercial, and international environments
- High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism, with strong interpersonal skills
