We are currently seeking high skilled Disability Support Workers to join our caring and dynamic team to provide high quality in-home support services. With assorted SIL Houses and social community shifts on offer within Ipswich, Collingwood, Middle Park, & Rosewood. Are you passionate about making a positive difference in your local community? Duties and responsibilities include:
- High personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
- Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
- Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Provide updates on customer progress following each service

About you:
- Caring, friendly, compassionate & ability to build rapport & good working relationships
- Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
- Reliable & dependable
- Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback
What you will need:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid certificate/CPR
- Current Australian (QLD) Drivers License
- Reliable car, registered, and insured vehicle
- Smartphone with internet access
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services
- NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module certificate
- The right to work in Australia with ability to provide 100 points of I.D.
