We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Compliance Officer to join our friendly Compliance team in North Leigh, just outside of Witney, Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career who is keen to learn about compliance, risk, and regulatory work in a supportive and encouraging environment. You don’t need previous compliance experience - we’re looking for the right attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong eye for detail. A commitment to complete an apprenticeship is required, which will involve attending weekly workshops online, completing coursework and an end project. This role is full-time and based in the office.
Responsibilities
- Support the Compliance team with day-to-day tasks
- Help review internal and external communications such as emails, calls, and CRM usage
- Help identify patterns or unusual activity
- Create and update spreadsheets, reports, and records
- Work with colleagues across different departments to support compliance activities
- Assist with compliance training and learning activities
Skills and requirements
- Good attention to detail and an organised approach to work
- An interest in compliance, risk, or regulatory work
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and develop new skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in a regulated environment or the vehicle leasing industry is not required, as full training will be provided.
