The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

All our Auxiliary Nurses work full time (35 hours) Monday to Friday over a range of different shifts including early starts and late finishes. They work on rotation between a branch surgery and our Gosforth hospital. Our Auxiliary Nurses do not attend college at this stage, although we do hope that they will all progress to Student Veterinary Nurse with us in time.

Our Auxiliary Nurses must all meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum 5 GCSE's at grade 4 (C) or above, which must include Maths, English and at least one science subject.
  • A full clean UK driving license and their own transport, as they are contracted to work at any of our 8 branches as required by the rota.
  • Experience can be helpful but is not necessary as full in-house training will be given.
