Following an exciting redevelopment of our well-established site, we’re expanding our clinical team and are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our busy, well-equipped RCVS-accredited Animal Hospital in Gloucester.

About Us:

Located in Gloucestershire, we’re ideally situated on the edge of the stunning Cotswolds—offering a beautiful natural setting and excellent transport links. Our team is made up of driven individuals who are passionate about delivering gold-standard veterinary care. Many hold post-qualification certificates and we actively encourage continued learning and professional growth.

Our team includes:

  • 21 Day RVNs
  • 2 SVNs
  • 6 Night Nurses
  • 6 Kennel Assistants

We pride ourselves on promoting a strong work-life balance and offer a varied caseload. Schedule 3 procedures are actively supported, and additional training or qualifications are encouraged.

We also know how to have fun! From our annual summer and Christmas parties to spontaneous outings like bowling, darts, and even a visiting pancake chef on Shrove Tuesday—there’s always something to look forward to.

About You:

You’ll be a conscientious and hardworking RVN with a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care. Confidence across the full nursing rota is key. While experience as a Clinical Coach is beneficial, it’s not essential—we’re happy to provide training if you’re keen to support our student nurses. We’re particularly interested in candidates with a passion for anaesthesia or surgery, though we’re open to other clinical interests too.

The Role:

  • Full-time or part-time – we’re flexible and open to discussion
  • Mix of early and late shifts
  • 1 in 7 weekends with TOIL
  • No OOH – handled by our dedicated night team (opportunities for holiday cover if desired)
