An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Home Manager to manage a specialist service based in the Carr Gate, West Yorkshire area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers. This is a fantastic care home which offers residential support for males and females with a variety of needs, including individuals with a learning disability, autistic people, and those with complex needs.
As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
- Lead, support, and develop your team to deliver person-centred care.
- Support the assessment and implementation of individual care plans.
- Ensure a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for residents.
- Promote dignity, wellbeing, and independence in all aspects of care.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
- Must have previous experience as a manager specialising in complex behaviours and learning disabilities.
- Open to older people experience if there is evidence experience with complex dementia.
- Enthusiastic, energetic and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to show a can-do attitude at all times.
To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care or be working towards it.
The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours a week on days with some occasional on calls.
