An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Clinical Service Manager to manage an exceptional care home based in the Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers. This is a modern, high-quality care home located in a quiet residential area of Shoreham-by-Sea. It provides a wide range of care services for people with both short- and long-term needs, including those living with dementia or physical disabilities.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse with an active NMC Pin and have previous experience of managing a large care home.
As the Service Manager your key responsibilities include:
- Utilising authentic leadership, role modelling and inspirational skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent quality of care.
- Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service with 24 hour responsibility for the care of the Service Users.
- Managing the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the Service, and maintaining high levels of occupancy.
- Providing improvement, independence and choice for Service Users.
- Complying with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times and in particular the CQC for the Registration and Inspection of Nursing Homes and NMC guidelines.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
- A good working knowledge, with a proven record of CQC standards and can work towards achieving Outstanding.
- Good communication skills and can maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, internal as well as external professionals, families and visitors.
- A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home.
- Enthusiasm and passion for developing high level of person-centred care.
- Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.
The successful Service Manager will receive an excellent salary of £67,772 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours a week on days. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
