A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a skilled Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the Belfast, Northern Ireland area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers. This is one of the leading care homes in Belfast, providing nursing care for people with complex medical needs and 24-hour nursing dementia and respite care.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care
- Produce well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks
- Maintain accurate documentation and resident records while incorporating the use of modern technology
- Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation
- Make decisions in a timely manner
- Utilise clinical skills to provide guidance and support to all team members
- Support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times
Requirements / Qualifications
- Qualified Registered Nurse with current active NMC pin
- Ability to lead a team of care staff
- Passionate about delivering great care and supporting residents and their families
- Team player who engages well with others
- Effective communication at all levels
- Awareness and understanding of CI/CQQ/RQIA National Care Standards
- Understanding and application of relevant legislation related to the role
- Ability to deliver nursing care in a clinical environment
Salary and Benefits
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £20.94 per hour with an annual salary up to £47,910.72 per annum. Permanent vacancies are available for both day and night shifts.
