An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Clinical Lead Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in Horsham, West Sussex. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers. This care home offers nursing, dementia, supported living, rehabilitation, day care, respite and specialist care for more complex needs such as mental health, Acquired Brain Injuries, Learning Disabilities and Physical Disabilities.
Requirements
- To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff in order to deliver the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environment.
- Co-ordinate and lead the nursing team to provide high quality, person centred care and support in a way which promotes dignity, privacy, safety and independence and which promotes equality & diversity for everyone living and working in the Service.
- Comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times.
- Ensure the smooth and effective running of the Nursing units within the home and liaise with external health professionals.
- Provide Clinical Leadership and supervision within the Service.
- Will have full accountability for Infection Control implementation and audit throughout the service.
Preferred skills and experience
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse.
- Experience of supporting the elderly.
- A strong knowledge of person-centred care.
- Working closely with each resident, assessing their needs and delivering a care plan that helps each person to live a fuller life.
- You will provide the very best levels of care, make sure that all procedures are carried out to the highest of standards and optimising the wellbeing of every resident.
Salary and benefits
The successful Clinical Lead Nurse will receive an excellent annual salary of £28.61 per hour and the annual salary is £55,789.50 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 37.5 hours a week working through Days. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
