A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in a brand new state of the art care home opened in the Holt, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers. The latest flagship nursing home in historic Holt is the embodiment of elegance and luxury living, combining superb facilities. We are proud to offer residential, dementia, respite and nursing care in a beautiful and well-designed setting.

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin. As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and overseeing the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care.
  • Being the home's nurse expert, utilising your nursing skills as well as your managerial and leadership skills.
  • Focusing on residents with complex needs, conforming with the latest guidelines, taking far-reaching decisions and maintaining the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures.
  • Care plan development and assessments.
  • Looking after all our residents alongside the team and offering personalised centred care.

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
  • The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams.
  • Good clinical skills.
  • Promoting ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home.

Successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £55,000 per annum. This exciting role is a permanent full-time role for 40 hours a week working through Day Shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
