An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in a hospital based in the Charlwood, Surrey area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers. This is a low and medium secure hospital specialising in treating male patients aged 18+ who have been detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) and who will benefit from extended treatment and rehabilitation.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin. As a Nurse your key duties include:
- Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
- Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
- Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
- Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
- Leading shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team

- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
