Background
The role sits within the Enterprise Risk team, assisting with the implementation of the enterprise risk management framework through enhancements of the team’s use of AI as well supporting the incident management process and risk reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and embedding the enterprise risk management framework into the business by building key stakeholder relationships.
- Support the business through the end-to-end incident management process for operational incidents.
- Assist in the production of risk reports by using AI tools to generate first drafts, visualisations, and summaries for stakeholder review.
- Apply AI tools to review and interpret control documentation to identify gaps or inconsistencies.
- Conduct trend analysis on operational incidents, presenting to senior management and relevant committees.
- Support and challenge the key risk indicators (KRIs) as they are reported, escalating to management as required.
- Contribute to the monthly and quarterly risk reports to the various management committees and boards.
Desired Skills / Experience
- 2 years of experience in risk management practices within the asset management industry.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot or similar) to support data analysis and report drafting.
- Experience of incident management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. data manipulation, pivot tables, basic formulas); familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI).
- Excellent communication, relationship building and presentation skills.
