Background

This is an exciting role within the Client Outcomes Team, reporting to the Head of Client Outcomes.

The role will work across the team's key product governance and client outcomes activities, supporting the ongoing evolution of Jupiter's product governance framework and helping ensure products continue to deliver good outcomes for clients throughout the product lifecycle.

Working in partnership with colleagues across Product, Investments, Distribution, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Operations, the role will contribute to a range of strategic and regulatory initiatives, including Assessment of Value, Consumer Duty, Annual Product Reviews and other product governance related activities.

The successful candidate will provide analytical insight, governance support and constructive challenge to product proposals and product reviews, helping inform decision making across the business.

This role is a 12 month FTC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product governance
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of Jupiter's product governance framework, ensuring regulatory requirements and client outcomes are embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Provide product governance input and constructive challenge to new product proposals, material product changes and other product lifecycle events.
  • Support governance forums through the preparation of high-quality papers, management information and recommendations.
  • Monitor target market and distribution chain outcomes, assessing whether products continue to reach their intended investors and deliver appropriate client outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen governance processes, methodologies and decision-making frameworks.
  • Client outcomes
  • Support the delivery of the Client Outcomes framework across Assessment of Value (Ao V) and Consumer Duty.
  • Contribute to the Ao V process, including analysis, governance papers and Board reporting.
  • Support the preparation of the annual Consumer Duty Board Report and quarterly Consumer Duty reporting, ensuring robust evidence of good client outcomes.
  • Develop insights into outcomes for direct retail investors, including consideration of customers in vulnerable circumstances and the effectiveness of customer communications and support.
  • Product reviews
  • Contribute to the delivery of annual fund reviews across all jurisdictions, assessing ongoing suitability throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Assess product outcomes against target market expectations and distribution strategy, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Work with Product, Investments and Distribution teams to support the implementation of actions arising from product reviews and governance decisions.
  • Analysis and insight
  • Develop robust management information and outcome metrics to support governance committees, senior management and Board reporting.
  • Translate complex analysis into clear, evidence-based recommendations for stakeholders across the business.
  • Identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities to improve client outcomes across the product range.
  • Drive continuous improvements in data quality, reporting, automation and analytical capability.
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Build effective working relationships across Product, Investments, Distribution, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations and Finance.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Client Outcomes Team, providing support across Ao V, Consumer Duty, APR, and wider product governance initiatives as priorities evolve.
  • Present analysis, findings and recommendations to governance committees and senior stakeholders, providing constructive challenge where appropriate.
  • Act as a trusted partner to Product, Client Group and Compliance colleagues, helping to embed good client outcomes into business decision-making.
  • Continuous improvement
  • Support the ongoing evolution of Jupiter's client outcomes and product governance framework in response to regulatory developments and business priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve methodologies, governance processes, reporting and operational efficiency across the Client Outcomes function.
  • Desired Skills / Experience
  • Substantial experience within asset management in Product, Product Governance, Client Outcomes or a related function.
  • A strong understanding of pooled fund structures, product governance principles and the UK regulatory framework, including Consumer Duty and Assessment of Value.
  • Experience supporting product development, product lifecycle management or governance activities.
  • Strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail combined with experience preparing papers for senior management or governance committees.
  • Focus on delivery with attention to detail while understanding the bigger picture of what we are trying to.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across a broad range of initiatives.
  • Having an agile mindset which strives in a fast-paced environment and can work to tight deadlines.
