The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
Our London office boasts on‑site shower and locker facilities, green space near Green Park and St James' Park, and a 3:2 hybrid working arrangement: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a third day in office; the other two days from home. This role is a maternity cover, 12‑month fixed‑term contract, reporting directly to the Head of Development. The successful candidate will lead the Application Development team and manage development staff, while also contributing to development work within their Scrum team.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to the Application Development Team.
- Manage objectives, performance reviews, and career planning for team members.
- Ensure development standards are met and work with the Head of Development to deliver business requirements on time.
- Collaborate with the Head of Development, Head of Technical Delivery, and across all Scrum teams.
- Contribute coding and technical work within the allocated Scrum team.
- Communicate effectively with business users at all levels.
Desired Skills / Experience
- At least 4 years of relevant development experience as an Analyst/Programmer or equivalent.
- Proficiency in .NET development, full development life cycle, SQL Server 2016+, automated testing, and design patterns (SOLID).
- Knowledge of Web API services, .NET Windows services, Azure components and testing frameworks.
- Experience in people management and line management of developers.
- Experience in Asset Management or Financial Services is desirable.
- Familiarity with FCA Conduct Rules.
