Company Overview: We are delighted to be partnering with a growing insurance business that specialises in delivering tailored products to customers across the UK and Ireland. The organisation is known for its collaborative, supportive, and people-centred culture, and finding the right person and team fit is a critical part of their recruitment process. Employees enjoy a remote-first setup, open communication, a coaching-style leadership approach, and a culture that values autonomy, teamwork, and clear goals. Due to continued growth and increased IT demand, the company is expanding its technology function and creating a new Senior IT Analyst position to strengthen operational capability and support the existing IT leadership.

Role Overview: This is a key role within a small but growing IT team. As Senior IT Analyst, you will provide broad technical support across the business, working closely with internal colleagues, external users, and third-party suppliers. The role combines hands-on IT support, system administration, cybersecurity responsibilities, asset management, and coordination of technology changes across the organisation. You will be supporting a busy IT function where the team manages a wide range of responsibilities, including project delivery, support for bespoke internal systems, and collaboration with an overseas call-centre team, working parallel to colleagues in a similar role. The position is predominantly remote, with ad-hoc travel to London for team meetups and occasional additional in-person work as needed, so applicants must be UK based and able to travel easily to London when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure security of systems and data, including running vulnerability scans and coordinating penetration testing.
  • Support internal and external users of bespoke software systems and CRM tools.
  • Manage and monitor support tickets, including replicating issues and producing clear bug reports.
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers to request quotes and support system changes.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing and documentation of systems and processes.
  • Manage IT assets including equipment, licensing, subscriptions, and domains.
  • Support office IT, including laptops, phones, networks, servers, and software.
  • Develop and support the business phone system.
  • Provide technical support to an overseas call-centre team.
  • Contribute to project delivery within a lean, fast-moving environment with high IT demands.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar technology-focused role.
  • Strong track record in IT support with broad technical experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, and CRM systems.
  • Cybersecurity awareness and experience managing security-related activity.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, including regular video calls.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience using ticketing systems and handling customer queries.
  • Must be UK-based with a suitable home working setup.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK — no sponsorship available.
  • Experience working in insurance or a regulated environment would be preferable.
  • ITIL certification or other relevant professional qualifications.
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers.

Benefits:

  • 25 days annual leave, increasing with service.
  • Nomad policy - work abroad for up to 4 weeks per year.
  • Annual travel insurance.
  • Life cover (4× salary) and income protection.
  • Enhanced family leave.
  • Flexible remote working with monthly team connection events.
  • Regular team socials plus birthday and Christmas gifts.
  • Qualification bonus for completing relevant learning.
  • Family & friends discount on insurance products.
