The Role
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and oversee Health & Safety, primarily across the London Borough of Newham. Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety, this strategic role will provide expert advice to clients and senior leaders, ensuring robust governance, legal compliance and a strong Health & Safety culture. You will primarily be responsible for the development and delivery of Health & Safety strategy, performance monitoring, and incident investigation.
About you
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
- Experience operating at a management level in a complex or public-sector organisation
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cultural change
- A recognised Health & Safety qualification (Degree or NEBOSH Level 6)
- Working towards Chartered IOSH status
