Centre Administrator (Temporary - Part-Time, 3 days per week) – Leicester Training Centre

Salary - £14,880 (FTE £24,800) - £15,600 (FTE £26,000)

From supporting tutors and learners to keeping things organised and efficient, your contribution will be vital to the success of our daily operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Centre Manager and wider team
  • Maintain accurate learner records and data in line with GDPR
  • Be the friendly first point of contact for enquiries – in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Support the learner journey through enrolment, registers, and general queries
  • Liaise with external partners and stakeholders
  • Keep the centre running smoothly with tasks like ordering supplies, filing, and scheduling
  • Monitor and report on attendance, progress, and performance data
  • Help coordinate centre events and activities throughout the year

About You

You’re someone who thrives in a busy environment, takes pride in being organised, and genuinely enjoys supporting others. You’ll bring excellent communication skills, a can‑do attitude, and great attention to detail.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative role – education or training sector experience is a bonus
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • A positive, learner‑focused approach

Desirable

  • Experience in a training or educational setting
  • Familiarity with learner management systems (LMS)
