Juniper Training is looking for a motivated and learner-focused Maths & Employability Tutor to join our Wednesbury team. This full-time dual role combines the delivery of Functional Skills and GCSE Maths with employability training, helping learners build confidence, achieve qualifications, and progress into work or apprenticeships.
About the Role
- Deliver Functional Skills Maths (Entry Level to Level 2) and GCSE Maths
- Plan and deliver engaging employability sessions, including CV writing, interview skills, job search, and workplace behaviours
- Differentiating teaching to meet individual learner needs, including those with additional support requirements
- Assess learner progress, provide feedback, and support learners to achieve qualifications
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance processes
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure learners reach their full potential
What We’re Looking For
- Experience delivering Functional Skills and/or GCSE Maths
- Experience delivering employability skills or vocational/work-based learning
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Excellent classroom management and learner engagement skills
- A supportive, inclusive, and motivating teaching approach
- Experience with young people, adults, or learners with SEND is highly desirable.
