We’re looking for a Performance Manager to lead one of our Juniper Training centres, ensuring outstanding delivery, strong staff development and excellent outcomes for every learner.
About the Role
As a Performance Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management and success of your centre. You’ll lead, coach and develop staff, manage resources effectively, and make sure that learners receive a high-quality, positive and engaging learning experience. This role is essential in ensuring that performance outcomes, compliance measures and financial targets are consistently achieved — while maintaining a supportive, values-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate all centre-based staff in line with Juniper’s values
- Maintain a positive, productive and supportive working environment
- Deploy resources effectively to meet/exceed performance and financial targets
- Build strong inter-departmental and cross-centre relationships
- Ensure all learners receive an excellent learning experience
- Support business development by raising the profile of Juniper locally
- Adhere to awarding/funding body requirements and internal procedures
- Follow employment law and staff management best practice
- Manage budgets effectively
- Uphold safeguarding, Prevent and British Values at all times
About You
Essential
- Level 2 English & Maths (minimum)
- Experience managing people
- Experience in contract management and achieving results
- Experience in education or training
- Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to persuade, influence and manage challenging behaviour
- Able to work under pressure and meet targets
- Highly motivated, organised and solutions-focused
- Positive, professional and engaging approach
- Able to work independently and use initiative
