Quality Improvement Officer (Teaching & Learning)

Location: Multi-site role across our training centres (must be willing to travel and based in the West Midlands)
Contract: Part-Time, 3 days per week – 12 Month Contract
Salary: £16,800 – £21,000 (pro-rata, depending on experience – FTE £28,000 – £35,000)

What You’ll Do

  • Leading initiatives to raise the quality of tutor and coach delivery across all centres
  • Carrying out lesson observations and providing constructive feedback to staff
  • Coaching, mentoring, and training tutors to develop their teaching practice
  • Supporting Centre Leads and Lead Practitioners with staff development strategies
  • Tracking staff qualifications and identifying skills gaps/training needs
  • Designing resources, lesson plans, and schemes of work to model best practice
  • Facilitating student and staff feedback to drive continual improvement
  • Promoting safeguarding, British Values, and inclusive education throughout delivery

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Level 3/A Level in Maths and/or English
  • Level 4 Teaching Qualification
  • Experience teaching employability, numeracy, and literacy
  • Strong understanding of teaching standards and effective delivery practices
  • Positive, energetic, and solutions-focused personality
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills

Desirable:

  • Subject specialism (e.g. Functional Skills)
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, or staff development
  • Supervisory or management experience

Additional Info: This role requires regular travel to various Juniper centres, so access to transport is essential.
