About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and engaging Recruitment Officer to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in recruiting students onto our training programmes, ensuring they receive the guidance and support they need to achieve their goals.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Actively recruiting students through outreach, networking, and marketing activities
- Building strong relationships with local agencies, schools, and other referral sources
- Promoting Juniper pathways and Apprenticeships through career events, recruitment fairs, and pop-up shops
- Using social media to raise Juniper's profile and attract students
- Interviewing potential students and completing accurate paperwork
- Identifying support needs and creating initial support plans to ensure students thrive
- Ensuring our Telford centre meets its student recruitment targets
What We’re Looking For:
We're seeking someone who is:
- Confident and outgoing with excellent communication skills
- Motivated and goal-driven with experience in sales, outreach, or marketing
- Organised and proactive with strong time-management skills
- Able to build rapport with young people and guide them on their career journey
- Familiar with using social media platforms to promote services and engage potential students
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- Minimum of Level 2 English and Maths
- Experience in outreach, sales, marketing, or recruitment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
- CEIAG Level 3/4 qualification
- Experience working in education/training
- Experience working with 16-18-year-olds
