Your Role - Making an Impact as an English Tutor
Are you passionate about the power of words and their ability to shape futures? As an English Tutor at our Wednesbury Training Centre, you’ll ignite a love for learning in your students. Through dynamic lessons and engaging activities, you’ll help learners build essential English skills that will support their academic success and future careers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver inspiring and effective English lessons (Functional Skills & GCSE) to a diverse range of learners.
- Create interactive, engaging sessions that bring language and literacy to life.
- Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to support progression.
- Foster excellent student attendance and engagement, intervening where needed.
- Ensure student welfare and uphold safeguarding standards while promoting British Values.
- Conduct assessments, reviews, and mock exams to ensure students are qualification-ready.
- Manage administrative tasks effectively, maintaining accurate records and reports.

- Experienced: Skilled in teaching Functional Skills and GCSE English.
