Job Details

  • Contract: Fixed Term Maternity Cover
  • Schedule: Monday 08:30‑16:30; Tuesday 08:30‑16:30; Wednesday 08:30‑12:15
  • Salary: £13,000‑£15,000 (£26,000‑£30,000 FTE)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver inspiring training – plan and deliver fun, interactive sessions that keep learners engaged and motivated.
  • Assess & feedback – mark learner work, provide constructive feedback, and set SMART goals to help them progress.
  • Develop the curriculum – keep programs fresh and industry‑relevant, ensuring learners acquire real‑world skills.
  • Support & mentor – act as a role model, helping learners overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
  • Keep records up to date – maintain accurate learner progress, attendance, and assessments.
  • Work as a team – collaborate with colleagues, employers, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless learning experience.
  • Stay ahead of the game – engage in continuous professional development to keep your skills sharp and relevant.

What You Need To Bring To The Table

  • Recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS or equivalent)
  • Passion for helping people succeed
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Confidence with IT (for record‑keeping & lesson planning)
  • Bonus: previous experience as an Employability Tutor (not essential)
