This is a unique opportunity to work across our training centre network, providing maths tutor cover during staff vacancies and absences. When cover is not required, youβll play a vital role in mentoring and supporting maths tutors, ensuring the highest standards of teaching are maintained. Flexibility and the capacity to travel across the Midlands are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality maths education (Functional Skills & GCSE) to groups of students.
- Provide in-class training and support for tutors, helping them improve their delivery.
- Mark and assess student work, offering constructive feedback to foster skill development.
- Ensure excellent attendance and retention of students, following up on absences robustly.
- Safeguard the welfare of students, promote British Values, and provide tailored support (including SEND).
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective group training sessions, meeting awarding body standards.
- Conduct student assessments, reviews, and mock exams, ensuring readiness for qualifications.
- Provide administrative support, meeting contractual and internal documentation requirements.
