We’re excited to be recruiting for a Sports Lecturer & Football Coach to join our full-time further education programme based at Telford Town FC. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong sports education and football coaching background to play a key role in developing the next generation of players both on and off the pitch.
You’ll deliver NCFE Level 3 Sport qualifications as part of Juniper Training’s college programme in partnership with an established football academy with a proven record of producing professional players over the past 10 years.
As part of our dedicated and supportive delivery team, you’ll be responsible for teaching, coaching, and mentoring learners, supporting them to achieve their qualifications and progress into apprenticeships, employment, or higher education.
About The Role- Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
- Term time only
- Delivering classroom-based NCFE Level 3 Sport education
- Coaching learners in both training and matchday environments
- Supporting with GCSE Maths & English delivery where required
- Helping to shape a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Experience working in a college, training provider or football environment
- Strong coaching background and understanding of academy-level football
- A degree-level qualification (essential)
- Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or willingness to work towards this
- QTLS and/or PGCE (desirable)
- A passion for developing young people and helping them achieve their goals
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Be part of a national training provider with a strong reputation in sport and education
