Juniper Training is looking for a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to oversee our Performance Managers across multiple sites. This role ensures our teams are motivated, supported, and delivering excellent outcomes for learners.
About the Role
- Lead, develop, and motivate Performance Managers in a way that reflects Juniper's values
- Oversee staffing, performance, and operational excellence across multiple training sites
- Ensure a high-quality, positive learning experience for all students
- Safeguard students' welfare, prevent radicalisation, and promote British Values
- Provide leadership and strategic insight to the Director of Foundation Learning on staffing and performance
- Contribute to business development by raising the profile of Juniper and building strong external relationships
- Ensure compliance with awarding/funding bodies and internal policies
- Work within budgets and monitor resource efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate an excellent remote and on-site working environment and retain a stable workforce
- Manage company resources effectively to ensure targets are met or exceeded
- Encourage and support interādepartmental and crossāsite collaboration
- Communicate effectively using appropriate channels and methods
- Coach and mentor your managers to ensure consistent performance and staff development
- Monitor and evaluate centre performance, making recommendations for improvements
Person Specification
Essential
- Level 2 English and Maths (working at)
- Proven experience of managing people
- Experience of contract management and delivering results
- Experience in the Education/Training sector
Desirable
- Management or Coaching qualification
- Health and Safety qualification

- Strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
- Effective people management and leadership skills
