Position Overview: Data Centre sales specialist

- We are creating an exceptional Cloud Ready DataCenter (CRDC) overlay sales team across the globe. We are searching for real technical hunters in EMEA to develop and grow Juniper’s data centre business.
- The role is a technical hunter role in our global Go-to-Market (GTM) overlay team for Juniper’s CRDC portfolio within the region.
- Our sales specialists need to hunt new Private Cloud opportunities and will support and manage our field sales teams when they found an appropriate project. In this case our team supports the field sales teams alongside the entire sales process
- Creating and running campaigns and marketing activities within the region to grow our local footprint is a regular task
Position Responsibilities:
- Technical network knowledge and at least 5 years’ experience, especially in technologies like 3-stage and 5-stage CLOS, Data Centre interconnect, eVPN, VxLAN and automation is key.
- Using your knowledge to find the pain points and challenges makes you successful.
- Cold acquisition per e-mail or phone is a daily effort.
- Supporting the entire sales cycle from cold calls to qualify in / out, running a POC until close.
- Utilize the entire organizational resources, tools, and capabilities to strengthen customer confidence in Juniper.
- Manage consistent & clear communication.
- Be seen by Juniper as the “go-to person” for this group in the region.
- Leverage, orchestrate, and rally the resources across the company to bring the full potential of the company’s resources to bear on sales opportunities.
- Lead and champion our primary focus of capturing greater market share in CRDC.
- Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales achievement.
- Ensure that Juniper is delivering a superior customer experience.

Individual Characteristics and Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive technical or technical sales roles in DataCenter networking
- Key industry and customer (CxO) relationships in DataCenter networking industry.
- Experience selling high-tech products (hardware, software, services) is required; prior CRDC sales experience mandatory, prior security experience desired.
- Exceptional customer-facing/listening skills.
- Extensive knowledge of various channels (Disti’s, VARs, SIs, Carriers) with extensive relationships and the ability to build relationships within each.
- Exceptional communication skills including listening, writing, and public speaking.
