We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will support dentists in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring clinical procedures run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in line with infection control standards
- Ensure the surgery is clean, organised, and ready for each patient
- Provide reassurance and support to patients before, during, and after treatment
- Maintain accurate patient records and update clinical notes as required
- Handle and process dental materials (e.g., impressions, fillings)
- Support radiography procedures (if qualified)
- Manage stock levels and order supplies when necessary
- Follow all health and safety, cross-infection, and compliance regulations
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification (e.g., NEBDN or equivalent)
- Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) (if applicable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
