Join our team at Juniper Education and play a key role in ensuring the financial health of our schools and Academy Trusts. This role is all about minimising risk and maximising profitability by ensuring that credit issued by the company is paid in full and on time.What You\’ll Be Doing Proactively contacting Schools and Trusts to chase outstanding invoices, with telephone as your primary tool.Sending statements and copy invoices as needed.Resolving queries efficiently to ensure prompt payments.Collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues delaying invoice payments.Escalating any concerning accounts to the Credit Control Manager.Providing regular reports on the status of debt and overdue accounts.Working alongside the wider credit control team to improve debt collection processes.Managing correspondence via personal and company email accounts.Keeping detailed notes and updates in our collection software and reporting findings to the Finance Leadership Team.Preparing weekly and monthly reports and projects as required.Attending finance and company meetings in person or via video.Supporting the team with additional finance-related tasks when needed.What We\’re Looking For Proven experience as a Credit Controller.Strong understanding of accounting processes, particularly accounts receivable, bank allocations, and reconciliations.Exceptional query resolution and investigative skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Teams, Outlook, and Excel.Strong numeracy and analytical abilities.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Solid knowledge of the credit control cycle.Strong communication and listening skills.Confidence in managing time effectively – daily, weekly, and monthly.Ability to work both independently and within a team.Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.A team player who collaborates effectively and shares knowledge across the organisation.1st stage InterviewBenefits Day 1 right to company sick payEnhanced annual leave entitlementOpportunity to purchase additional leaveEntitlement to carry over leave to next entitlement yearDay 1 access to 24/7 GP & prescription servicesDay 1 access to rewards platformCycle to work schemeEnhanced maternity & adoption payDay 1 access to employee assistance platformFunded development/Qualification opportunitiesVoluntary health care cash planVoluntary private medical insurancePlease note: We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.It is the business expectation this role is being offered on a full-time, fixed term basis to ensure we maintain quality, achieve performance goals, and effectively meet customer demands.Details Seniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: ContractJob function: FinanceIndustries: Education Management
