You’ll turn operational and commercial data into forward-looking financial insight, helping the business improve revenue predictability, investment prioritisation, and long-term growth planning. Working closely with the CRO, CFO and senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we forecast, plan, and scale revenue in a fast-moving UK EdTech environment.

With our proven school education management systems and services, we address a spectrum of needs, ensuring excellence in education. In the education and tech industry, your work directly influences the lives of students and educators. Whether you’re developing cutting-edge educational technology, supporting school leadership teams directly or designing solutions to enhance the learning experience, you could make a lasting and positive impact on the future.

Dedicated to our core values, we are committed to:

  • Empowerment: Equipping everyone with the tools, intelligence, connections, and freedom to make informed decisions, recognised and respected by all.

  • Innovation: Delivering meaningful solutions with expertise and creative thinking to influence the ever-changing world of education.
  • Collaboration: The cornerstone of our success as it enables us to collectively harness diverse perspectives and strengths, ensuring that together, we achieve more than we could ever do alone. Every voice counts!

What We’re Looking For

  • Commercial & Strategic Mindset: You think beyond the numbers and focus on business impact. Experience supporting commercial decision-making in SaaS, EdTech, or high-growth environments. Confident challenging assumptions and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical & Technical Skills: Strong experience with financial modelling, scenario planning, and data-driven analysis. Comfortable translating complex data into compelling, senior-ready narratives. Familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn, pipeline) and revenue forecasting. Experience with BI tools, SQL, or advanced analytics is a plus, but not essential.
  • Ways of Working: Comfortable working cross-functional in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Confident partnering closely with Sales and Marketing teams, and comfortable operating in commercial forums. High attention to detail, with strong planning and organisational skills. Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with calm and focus.

This role includes responsibility for leading and developing a small team of BI analysts. You will act as a player-coach, combining hands-on ownership of core forecasting, modelling, and insight with line management responsibility for the team.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Revenue Forecasting & Insight: Build and maintain a unified revenue forecasting model across new business, upsell, and renewals. Develop rolling 12-month revenue forecasts, refining assumptions and accuracy over time. Partner with the CRO and BI Lead to run monthly forecast reviews and variance analysis. Integrate core SaaS metrics into forecasting frameworks to drive actionable insight. Lead the forecasting process across the team, ensuring alignment, consistency, and continuous improvement in assumptions and accuracy.
  • Strategic Modelling & Decision Support: Build scenario and sensitivity models to test pricing, market, and investment assumptions. Evaluate and quantify the ROI of commercial initiatives. Support strategic pricing, segmentation, and go-to-market planning. Partner with Product and CRO teams to prioritise investments that drive growth.
  • Data, Reporting & Stakeholder Partnership: Work with BI, Systems, and Finance to ensure data integrity and consistent definitions. Partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams, using CRM data to create a clear, trusted view of lead, pipeline, and revenue performance. Develop reporting and insight that gives the business a transparent window into marketing effectiveness and sales execution. Deliver clear, visual analysis for senior leadership and the board. Produce concise, data-driven commentary explaining performance trends and forecast movements. Support board packs, investor updates, and financial planning cycles. Help embed a data-led, commercially-minded culture across Sales, Marketing, and Adoption teams. Review and quality-assure team outputs to ensure insights are clear, accurate, and impactful for senior leadership and the board. Act as the primary escalation point for complex commercial questions and cross-functional requests.
