Responsibilities:
- Design event marketing strategy including creating & running your own events, identifying priority conferences / tradeshows and developing messaging / strategy for event days.
- Organize private events & socials to host our clients (e.g. dinner series, fireside chats, exclusive speaker events, hackathons).
- Build relationships with event organizers to get our senior stakeholders front and center at events and conferences.
- Own event logistics including planning, booking, and leading logistics on-site (you will have support from our 2 excellent office managers).
- Contribute to our content engine: work with the Product Marketing Lead to showcase compelling case studies and thought leadership at events.
- Design and execute our Community strategy to drive engagement with our core user group.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in event marketing or community roles.
- Experience in B2B SaaS marketing (bonus points for experience in marketing to finance and consulting audiences).
- Proven track record of planning and executing events / conferences that drive brand awareness and sales pipeline.
- Proven track record of building and nurturing strong and loyal communities.
- Cross-functional collaboration and strong project management skills: proven ability to work closely with product, sales, and leadership in start-up environments; excellent organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple complex programmes simultaneously.
- Executive presence – comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and representing Junior at industry events.
- An owner – thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and can build processes from scratch.
- Tinkerer’s mindset: experiments heavily with LLMs + AI tools and can point to several examples of processes built / revamped with genAI.
- Content creation expertise – exceptional writing skills with experience creating everything from executive briefings to technical documentation.
