Job Details
Job Title: Production Controller
Location: Isle of Wight β Cowes β Onsite only
Salary: Up to Β£32,000 (dependent on skills and experience)
What You\βll Be Doing
- Achieve the timely release of Production / Repair Orders
- Review and action MRP Error Exception messages and data hygiene reports, and support Production Reviews
- Support the Engineering Change Process and Non-Conformance process
- Create outbound delivery documentation ensuring compliance through the export control system
- Interface with other teams / organisations to provide a seamless service
- Provide a flexible approach to enable support throughout the logistics function to meet business requirements
- Review and propose Master Production Schedule changes β liaising with key functions within the Business, Projects, Procurement, Engineering and Manufacturing
Your Skills And Experiences
- PC literate and competent with Microsoft Excel, able to use an ERP system without supervision to undertake the planning role
- Awareness of general H&S/Environmental regulations and safe working practices
- Experience of SAP is desirable

The Production Control Team
The Production Control team consists of 8 Controllers. Controllers are involved in every step of the build process, supporting manufacturing functions to ensure requirements are met. They interact with every department within BAE Systems, interfacing with Procurement, Projects, Stores, Manufacturing, Engineering, and more. It is a fast paced, dynamic environment requiring good communication, problem solving and planning.
There is flexibility with working hours, depending on your role and location, including accruing hours and flexible start/finish times to balance work and home life.
