Are you passionate about working with children and have a recognised Level 3 EYFS qualification? We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and experienced EYFS Level 3 Qualified Playworker / Activity Leader to join our team at St George’s Junior School in Weybridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference to their time outside of the school day.
You will help create a safe, happy and engaging environment where children can relax, have fun, develop friendships and take part in a variety of exciting activities.
THE ROLE
- Supervise and support children throughout the session
- Lead and take part in fun, creative and engaging activities
- Organise and encourage children to participate in games, arts and crafts, sports and free play
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children
- Encourage children to develop confidence and independence
- Support children's individual needs
- Create a welcoming, inclusive and stimulating environment

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION
Applicants must hold a recognised UK Level 3 Early Years / Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) qualification in order to be considered and put forward for this role. We welcome applicants with any recognised UK Level 3 EYFS/Early Years qualification. The specific qualification title does not matter, provided the qualification is recognised in the UK and is suitable for working within an early years/EYFS setting.
WORKING HOURS
Monday to Friday 2:15pm – 6:30pm, 21.25 hours per week, Term Time Only. This role is ideal for someone looking for consistent part-time hours during the school term.
WANT MORE HOURS?
There may also be the opportunity to work additional hours during future school holiday clubs, should you wish to do so - to be discussed at interview. This provides the flexibility to increase your hours during the school holidays while maintaining your regular term-time position.
