At Junior Adventures Group (JAG), we're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Club Manager to lead our Breakfast & After School Club provision. You'll be at the heart of the club, creating a safe, exciting, and enriching environment where children aged 4–11 can play, learn, and thrive through a variety of engaging activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your first step into management or build on your existing leadership experience while making a genuine difference in children's lives every day.
Monday to Friday | Term Time Only
Breakfast Club: 07:30 – 08:45
After School Club: 15:00 – 18:00
Total contracted hours: 21 hours 15 minutes per week
This is a split‑shift role, giving you a break during the middle of the day for family commitments, study, hobbies, or personal time. There may also be opportunities to work additional hours during school holidays through our Holiday Club provision.
About the Role
As Club Manager, you'll lead and support a small team to deliver exceptional wrap‑around care experiences before and after the school day. You’ll build strong relationships with children, parents, school staff, and colleagues while ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and activity delivery. From sports and games to arts & crafts, team challenges, and structured play, you’ll help create memorable experiences that children look forward to every day.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and motivate your team to deliver outstanding childcare experiences
- Create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment where every child can thrive
- Plan and deliver engaging activities including sports, games, arts & crafts, and structured play
- Support children's confidence, creativity, and development through play
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers, school staff, and colleagues
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and company procedures are followed at all times
- Manage daily routines, registers, and relevant documentation
- Encourage positive behaviour and create an inclusive environment for all children

We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have:
- A Level 3 Childcare Qualification (desirable)
- Experience working with children in a childcare, education, or playwork environment
- Experience leading, supervising, or supporting a team
- A passion for creating engaging experiences that help children thrive
Don't have a Level 3 qualification? We'd still love to hear from you if you have relevant childcare experience and can demonstrate strong leadership skills. Or anyone looking to take the next step into a rewarding leadership role.

Compliance & Legal Requirements
This role requires compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Successful applicants will be required to:
